The ‘brick-and-mortar‘ or Property law regards private and commercial property. The former might concern a rental dispute in cases for (or against) housing corporations. The latter often regards large financial interests, for instance, in case of the development of a large office project. Civil Property law applies to cooperation and finance agreements, contracting of work and all resulting disputes regarding defects, extra work, exceeding the construction time and price disputes. Property practice involves a lot of interactions with Administrative law, because of the inevitable presence of the authorities. Administrative law is an extremely complicated area of law, with its own procedures and authority for litigants, that differ substantially from civil proceedings.
